Jaitpur is a small village of 281 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaitpur depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaitpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jaitpur's pin code is 301024[4], and village code is 00754000. The area of Jaitpur is segregated as 174.45 hectares irrigated area, 68.24 hectares unirrigated, the 24.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Jaitpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Jaitpur is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1470 and has total administration over 282 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jaitpur has 190 children, 103 boys and 87 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 316 (21.50%) males constitute 163 (11.09%) of the population and females 153 (10.41%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 58 (3.95%) males constitute 31 (2.11%) of the population and females 27 (1.84%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
