Jaloda is a small village of 682 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaloda depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaloda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jaloda's pin code is 323301[3], and village code is 02752000. The area of Jaloda is segregated as 435 hectares irrigated area, 141 hectares unirrigated, the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 95 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 488 male, 447 female with 764 (81.71%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 443 males and 321 females. 220 males and 74 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 178 male and 228 female agricultural labor. 171 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell earthen pots and make their living.
