Jatiya is a small village of 724 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jatiya depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 168.02% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jatiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jatiya's pin code is 305025[4], and village code is 02507300. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nasirabad and Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
