Jeelola is a small village of 1176 hectares in Amet Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jeelola depends on AMET, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 3.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jeelola is also surrounded by Two lakes.
