Jethaniya is a small village of 2173 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jethaniya depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jethaniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jethaniya's pin code is 342021[4], and village code is 01974300. The area of Jethaniya is segregated as 223 hectares irrigated area, 1808 hectares unirrigated, the 79 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Jethaniya has One post office (Jethania B.O) and One public telephone. Jethaniya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Jethaniya is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1498 and has total administration over 273 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 344 (22.96%) males constitute 170 (11.35%) of the population and females 174 (11.62%).

The workforce is 437 male, 282 female with 536 (74.55%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 339 males and 197 females. 141 males and 34 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 49 male and 126 female agricultural labor. 183 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
