Jhag is a small village of 2069 hectares in Dudu (Hq. Mauzamabad) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhag depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhag is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jhag's pin code is 303009[4], and village code is 01525300. The area of Jhag is segregated as 165 hectares irrigated area, 510 hectares unirrigated, the 631 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 735 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Jhag has One post office (Jhag B.O) and Thirty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jhag has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Jhag is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4592 and has total administration over 768 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 900 (19.60%) males constitute 456 (9.93%) of the population and females 444 (9.67%).

The workforce is 1218 male, 990 female with 1629 (73.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1122 males and 507 females. 437 males and 375 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 42 male and 39 female agricultural labor. 579 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
