Jhajhar is a small village of 1527 hectares in Nawalgarh Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhajhar depends on NAWALGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 447.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhajhar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jhajhar's pin code is 333304[4], and village code is 00742500. The area of Jhajhar is segregated as 447 hectares irrigated area, 904 hectares unirrigated, the 80.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 96 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jhajhar is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7364 and has total administration over 1312 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 1945 male, 1210 female with 2122 (67.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1746 males and 376 females. 665 males and 288 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 130 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 1033 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NAWALGARH and Jhunjhunu to sell ghee and make their living.
