Jhank is a small village of 2749 hectares in Masuda Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhank depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhank is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jhank's pin code is 305901[4], and village code is 02539000. The area of Jhank is segregated as 104 hectares irrigated area, 527 hectares unirrigated, the 1411 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 707 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Jhank has One post office (Jhak B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jhank has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Jhank is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1852 and has total administration over 376 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 823 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 456 male, 367 female with 476 (57.84%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 373 males and 103 females. 45 males and 49 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 30 male and 45 female agricultural labor. 347 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
