Jodhpura is a small village of 147 hectares in Todabhim Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jodhpura depends on TODABHIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jodhpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jodhpura's pin code is 321611[4], and village code is 01183000. The area of Jodhpura is segregated as 73.3 hectares irrigated area, 49.38 hectares unirrigated, the 3.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jodhpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Jodhpura is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 928 and has total administration over 118 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jodhpura has 144 children, 85 boys and 59 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 128 (13.79%) males constitute 70 (7.54%) of the population and females 58 (6.25%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 651 (70.15%) males constitute 363 (39.12%) of the population and females 288 (31.03%).

The workforce is 225 male, 225 female with 434 (96.44%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 217 males and 217 females. 153 males and 170 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 40 male and 44 female agricultural labor. 16 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TODABHIM and Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
