Jodhpura is a small village of 782 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jodhpura depends on NEEM KA THANA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 361.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jodhpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jodhpura's pin code is 333801[4], and village code is 00752700. The area of Jodhpura is segregated as 361 hectares irrigated area, 102 hectares unirrigated, the 47 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jodhpura is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2135 and has total administration over 391 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jodhpura has 345 children, 195 boys and 150 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 242 (11.33%) males constitute 132 (6.18%) of the population and females 110 (5.15%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 380 (17.80%) males constitute 207 (9.70%) of the population and females 173 (8.10%).

The workforce is 669 male, 520 female with 555 (46.68%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 467 males and 88 females. 266 males and 71 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 30 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 634 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NEEM KA THANA and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
