Joseph Strickland (born November 9, 1962) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and author from Chicago, IL.[1]
His film directorial debut, Dual Mania, a psychological thriller initially released at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto, Ontario on September 17, 2018, was inspired by the life of Jeffrey Dahmer and details a troubled young man who visits an African-American psychotherapist who attempts to treat him. The independent feature film was produced through Strickland's Vital Vision Productions company, and is scheduled for a theatrical release in the fall of 2020.[2]
