Judiya is a small village of 3780 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Judiya depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Judiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Judiya's pin code is 342023[4], and village code is 01990100. The area of Judiya is segregated as 3550 hectares unirrigated, the 113 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 117 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Judiya has One post office (Judia B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Judiya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Judiya is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3474 and has total administration over 557 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Judiya has 694 children, 367 boys and 327 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 814 (23.43%) males constitute 417 (12.0%) of the population and females 397 (11.43%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 283 (8.15%) males constitute 152 (4.38%) of the population and females 131 (3.77%).

The workforce is 846 male, 251 female with 472 (43.03%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 444 males and 28 females. 10 males and 3 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 9 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 625 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
