Kairap is a small village of 2228 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kairap depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 62.12% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kairap is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Didwana and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
