Kajota is a small village of 474 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kajota depends on GOVINDGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 65.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kajota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kajota's pin code is 321633[4], and village code is 00935100. The area of Kajota is segregated as 165 hectares irrigated area, 163 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kajota is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2100 and has total administration over 346 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOVINDGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
