Kaklana is a small village of 664 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kaklana depends on Ajmer, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kaklana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kaklana's pin code is 305205[4], and village code is 02508600. The area of Kaklana is segregated as 109 hectares irrigated area, 214 hectares unirrigated, the 91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 192 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kaklana has Twenty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kaklana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kaklana is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2508 and has total administration over 468 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kaklana has 468 children, 245 boys and 223 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 54 (2.15%) males constitute 31 (1.24%) of the population and females 23 (0.92%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
