Kalauna is a small village of 2838 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalauna depends on Bilara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalauna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalauna's pin code is 342602[4], and village code is 02010300. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bilara and Jodhpur to sell lime stone and make their living.
