Kaleri is a small village of 410 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kaleri depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kaleri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kaleri's pin code is 303501[4], and village code is 01413000. The area of Kaleri is segregated as 137.25 hectares irrigated area, 124.23 hectares unirrigated, the 60.53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kaleri has One public telephone. Kaleri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kaleri is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 961 and has total administration over 175 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kaleri has 180 children, 95 boys and 85 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 105 (10.93%) males constitute 50 (5.20%) of the population and females 55 (5.72%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 188 (19.56%) males constitute 100 (10.41%) of the population and females 88 (9.16%).

The workforce is 206 male, 201 female with 367 (90.17%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 185 males and 182 females. 128 males and 157 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 4 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 40 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
