Kalinjar is a small village of 770 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalinjar depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalinjar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kalinjar's pin code is 305925[4], and village code is 02523000. The area of Kalinjar is segregated as 111 hectares irrigated area, 224 hectares unirrigated, the 273 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 162 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kalinjar has One post office (Rajiawas S.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kalinjar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kalinjar is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2280 and has total administration over 488 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 121 (5.31%) males constitute 52 (2.28%) of the population and females 69 (3.03%).

The workforce is 484 male, 371 female with 526 (61.52%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 412 males and 114 females. 40 males and 30 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 157 male and 31 female agricultural labor. 329 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
