Kalyan is a small village of 925 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kalyan depends on Sambhar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kalyan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kalyan's pin code is 303604[4], and village code is 01507600. The area of Kalyan is segregated as 8.28 hectares irrigated area, 684.93 hectares unirrigated, the 203.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kalyan has One public telephone. Kalyan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kalyan is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 578 and has total administration over 88 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 121 (20.93%) males constitute 64 (11.07%) of the population and females 57 (9.86%).

The workforce is 178 male, 143 female with 317 (98.75%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 175 males and 142 females. 95 males and 133 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 4 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sambhar and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
