Kamalpura is a small village of 173 hectares in Digod Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kamalpura depends on MODAK, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 50.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Kamalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kamalpura's pin code is 325203[3], and village code is 03821400. The area of Kamalpura is segregated as 65 hectares irrigated area, 21 hectares unirrigated, the 62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kamalpura has One post office (Simlia S.O) and Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kamalpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kamalpura is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 484 and has total administration over 101 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 71 (14.67%) males constitute 38 (7.85%) of the population and females 33 (6.82%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 104 (21.49%) males constitute 48 (9.92%) of the population and females 56 (11.57%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of MODAK and Kota to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
