Kana is a small village of 685 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kana depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 0.89% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kana's pin code is 306704[4], and village code is 02466800. The area of Kana is segregated as 164.89 hectares irrigated area, 185 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 165 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
