Kanai Khurd is a small village of 1233 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanai Khurd depends on Kekri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanai Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kanai Khurd's pin code is 305628[4], and village code is 02563100. The area of Kanai Khurd is segregated as 267.41 hectares irrigated area, 775.64 hectares unirrigated, the 108.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 82.32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kekri and Ajmer to sell mawa and make their living.
