Kanawasi is a small village of 264 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanawasi depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanawasi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kanawasi's pin code is 331303[4], and village code is 00596400. The area of Kanawasi is segregated as 240.47 hectares unirrigated, the 10.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kanawasi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Kanawasi is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 693 and has total administration over 124 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kanawasi has 78 children, 45 boys and 33 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 105 (15.15%) males constitute 56 (8.08%) of the population and females 49 (7.07%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
