Kandara is a small village of 1560 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kandara depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kandara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kandara's pin code is 306401[4], and village code is 02435000. The area of Kandara is segregated as 1.8 hectares irrigated area, 1167.47 hectares unirrigated, the 242.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 148.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kandara is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2202 and has total administration over 465 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell furniture and make their living.
