Kangani is a small village of 1379 hectares in Sahara Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kangani depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 9.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kangani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kangani's pin code is 311806[4], and village code is 02865300. The area of Kangani is segregated as 54 hectares irrigated area, 364 hectares unirrigated, the 734 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 130 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kangani has One post office (Kangani B.O) and Eight public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kangani has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kangani is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1752 and has total administration over 350 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kangani has 244 children, 118 boys and 126 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 525 (29.97%) males constitute 268 (15.30%) of the population and females 257 (14.67%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 40 (2.28%) males constitute 16 (0.91%) of the population and females 24 (1.37%).

The workforce is 494 male, 432 female with 291 (31.43%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 197 males and 94 females. 117 males and 66 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 5 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 635 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
