Kanoota is a small village of 3066 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanoota depends on LADNU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanoota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kanoota's pin code is 331507[4], and village code is 00659600. The area of Kanoota is segregated as 64.5 hectares irrigated area, 2775.44 hectares unirrigated, the 74.37 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 151.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kanoota is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5016 and has total administration over 853 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Kanoota has 794 children, 406 boys and 388 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 1825 (36.38%) males constitute 948 (18.90%) of the population and females 877 (17.48%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 8 (0.16%) males constitute 6 (0.12%) of the population and females 2 (0.04%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 3392 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1790 male, 1602 female with 1665 (49.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1034 males and 631 females. 871 males and 600 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 46 male and 20 female agricultural labor. 1727 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of LADNU and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
