Kanoota is a small village of 3066 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanoota depends on LADNU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanoota is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of LADNU and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
