Kanthariya is a small village of 307 hectares in Arnod Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanthariya depends on Begun, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 56.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanthariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kanthariya's pin code is 312615[4], and village code is 03570100. The area of Kanthariya is segregated as 62.59 hectares irrigated area, 67.18 hectares unirrigated, the 108.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Begun and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
