Kanwara is a small village of 625 hectares in Kaman Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kanwara depends on Kaman, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kanwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kanwara's pin code is 321022[4], and village code is 00975700. The area of Kanwara is segregated as 196 hectares irrigated area, 372 hectares unirrigated, the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kanwara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kanwara is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2490 and has total administration over 379 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kanwara has 412 children, 227 boys and 185 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 369 (14.82%) males constitute 189 (7.59%) of the population and females 180 (7.23%).

The workforce is 576 male, 424 female with 802 (80.2%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 547 males and 255 females. 391 males and 203 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 62 male and 32 female agricultural labor. 198 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kaman and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
