Karada is a small village of 860 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karada depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 3.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Karada's pin code is 314024[4], and village code is 03334700. The area of Karada is segregated as 23 hectares irrigated area, 290 hectares unirrigated, the 405 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 142 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Karada is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2738 and has total administration over 565 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 356 (13.0%) males constitute 190 (6.94%) of the population and females 166 (6.06%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 801 (29.25%) males constitute 387 (14.13%) of the population and females 414 (15.12%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
