Kardala is a small village of 669 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kardala depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 17.10% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kardala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kardala's pin code is 305814[4], and village code is 02484700. The area of Kardala is segregated as 36 hectares irrigated area, 233.05 hectares unirrigated, the 200.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 192.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kardala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Kardala is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 793 and has total administration over 157 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kardala has 127 children, 72 boys and 55 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 238 (30.01%) males constitute 109 (13.75%) of the population and females 129 (16.27%).

The workforce is 198 male, 55 female with 166 (65.61%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 158 males and 8 females. 19 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 107 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 87 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
