Karkeri is a small village of 2666 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karkeri depends on Parbatsar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 617.30% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karkeri is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Parbatsar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
