Karkeri is a small village of 2666 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karkeri depends on Parbatsar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 617.30% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karkeri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karkeri's pin code is 305819[4], and village code is 02486100. The area of Karkeri is segregated as 1176.46 hectares irrigated area, 585.05 hectares unirrigated, the 422.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 258 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Karkeri has One post office (Amarpura B.O) and Eighty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Karkeri has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Karkeri is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7055 and has total administration over 1205 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 1493 (21.16%) males constitute 744 (10.55%) of the population and females 749 (10.62%).

According to a census 2011 report, 3120 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1830 male, 1290 female with 2146 (68.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1686 males and 460 females. 504 males and 278 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 974 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Parbatsar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
