Karloo is a small village of 887 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karloo depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 120.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Karloo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karloo's pin code is 343049[4], and village code is 02305000. The area of Karloo is segregated as 120 hectares irrigated area, 406 hectares unirrigated, the 121 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 240 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Karloo is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2796 and has total administration over 481 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1302 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 740 male, 562 female with 1212 (93.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 696 males and 516 females. 432 males and 301 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 35 male and 179 female agricultural labor. 90 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
