Kartha is a small village of 712 hectares in Mandal Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kartha depends on Deogarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kartha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kartha's pin code is 311804[4], and village code is 02836100. The area of Kartha is segregated as 87.5 hectares irrigated area, 135.48 hectares unirrigated, the 111.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 291.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kartha has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kartha is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1099 and has total administration over 224 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kartha has 166 children, 93 boys and 73 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 190 (17.29%) males constitute 99 (9.01%) of the population and females 91 (8.28%).

The workforce is 276 male, 309 female with 270 (46.15%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 167 males and 103 females. 90 males and 86 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 315 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Deogarh and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
