Kasba Bansur is a small village of 1302 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kasba Bansur depends on KOTPUTLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 600.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kasba Bansur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kasba Bansur's pin code is 301402[4], and village code is 00872600. The area of Kasba Bansur is segregated as 920 hectares irrigated area, 273 hectares unirrigated, the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 103 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 4551 male, 2442 female with 5430 (77.65%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 3986 males and 1444 females. 827 males and 697 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 97 male and 116 female agricultural labor. 1563 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KOTPUTLI and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
