Kasoriya is a small village of 1383 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kasoriya depends on Gulabpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 4.05% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kasoriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. Kasoriya is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2269 and has total administration over 439 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 586 male, 419 female with 992 (98.71%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 578 males and 414 females. 350 males and 289 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 102 male and 100 female agricultural labor. 13 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gulabpura and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
