Kasti is a small village of 3129 hectares in Bhopalgarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kasti depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kasti is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kasti's pin code is 342037[4], and village code is 01950600. The area of Kasti is segregated as 109.08 hectares irrigated area, 2181.25 hectares unirrigated, the 293.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 533.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kasti is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2723 and has total administration over 455 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 353 (12.96%) males constitute 189 (6.94%) of the population and females 164 (6.02%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
