    Kathy (Kathryn) Hubble (born 26 November 1968) is a Canadian retired judoka[1][2] who won medals at the Pan American Judo Championships[3][4] and the Pan American Games[5] between 1985-1988. Hubble was Canadian Champion 7 times [6](3 Sr. And 3 Jr. in the 80’s and 1 Masters in 2013) Hubble received Judo Canada “Athlete of the Year” in 1986 and represented Canada at the 1986 World Judo Championships in Maastricht Holland and the 1987 World Judo Championships in Essen Germany[7][8][9]. Hubble retired from judo in 1989 and went on to become a successful stunt performer in the film industry[10][11][12][13][14][15] but then came back to judo in 2013 and competed at the 2013 Judo Masters World Championships[16][17] [18]in Abu Dhabi, UAE and won gold[19][20]. Hubble has recently made the switch to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu[21][22][23] [24]and has won 7 Gold Medals at the IBJJF Masters World Championships.[25][26] Hubble is also the inventor of the patented Never-Tie Belt[27][28][29][30], a velcro martial arts belt meant for beginning martial artists[31][32][33].
