Kavita is a small village of 831 hectares in Girwa Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kavita depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 90.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kavita is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kavita's pin code is 313011[4], and village code is 03147300. The area of Kavita is segregated as 105 hectares irrigated area, 56 hectares unirrigated, the 57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 612.51 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Kavita has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kavita is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2043 and has total administration over 418 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 256 (12.53%) males constitute 137 (6.71%) of the population and females 119 (5.82%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 840 (41.12%) males constitute 435 (21.29%) of the population and females 405 (19.82%).

The workforce is 550 male, 266 female with 651 (79.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 496 males and 155 females. 74 males and 63 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 20 female agricultural labor. 165 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell juggary and make their living.
