Keerwa is a small village of 1589 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keerwa depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 280.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Keerwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Keerwa's pin code is 306422[4], and village code is 02439200. The area of Keerwa is segregated as 490 hectares irrigated area, 667 hectares unirrigated, the 209 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 223 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Keerwa has One post office (Keerwa B.O) and Thirty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Keerwa has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Keerwa is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2329 and has total administration over 476 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Keerwa has 324 children, 172 boys and 152 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 434 (18.63%) males constitute 230 (9.88%) of the population and females 204 (8.76%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 530 (22.76%) males constitute 289 (12.41%) of the population and females 241 (10.35%).

The workforce is 611 male, 424 female with 867 (83.77%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 539 males and 328 females. 303 males and 189 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 102 male and 117 female agricultural labor. 168 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rani and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
