Kelanwas is a small village of 217 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kelanwas depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 29.87% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kelanwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kelanwas's pin code is 303109[4], and village code is 01591500. The area of Kelanwas is segregated as 33 hectares irrigated area, 82.87 hectares unirrigated, the 2.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kelanwas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kelanwas is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 260 and has total administration over 49 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kelanwas has 36 children, 16 boys and 20 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 41 (15.77%) males constitute 22 (8.46%) of the population and females 19 (7.31%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 207 (79.62%) males constitute 106 (40.77%) of the population and females 101 (38.85%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
