Ekene Nkemena, (born June 24, 1997) known professionally as Kemena is an Nigerian singer, producer, songwriter, recording artist, record producer and sound engineer.[1] He is a geology graduate of the University of Nigeria|University of Nigeria, Nsukka.[2] His second album, Bond peaked at number 24 on Apple Music Top 100 World Albums.[3] Native Mag called his second album Bond 'stellar' and placed it on their Eight Must-Hear Projects You May Have Missed this Year.[4]Notjustok.com called the first single off the album International 'superb.'[5]
Nkemena was born on 24 June, 1997 at Ojo, Lagos, Lagos State. He is from Nnewi, Anambra State.[6]
In May 2016, Nkemena released his first single Bad Thing. In 2018, he released a free album Vertigo. Obi Emelonye's 2018 television series Crazy, Lovely, Cool, Lovely, Cool featured his music.[7][8] In 2019, he released multiple singles leading up to the release of his sophomore album Bond. On July 31st, 2020, he released his sophomore album Bond to multiple streaming platforms.[9][10]
