Kerli is a small village of 974 hectares in Barmer Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kerli depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kerli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Kerli's pin code is 344703[4], and village code is 02221900. The area of Kerli is segregated as 795 hectares unirrigated, the 156 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22.99 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kerli has One post office (Punion Ki Basti B.O). Kerli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kerli is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 859 and has total administration over 149 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 256 male, 246 female with 325 (64.74%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 205 males and 120 females. 89 males and 88 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 9 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 177 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
