Khandwa is a small village of 819 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khandwa depends on SURAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 257.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khandwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khandwa's pin code is 333502[4], and village code is 00723700. The area of Khandwa is segregated as 257 hectares irrigated area, 468 hectares unirrigated, the 51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khandwa has One post office (Khandawa B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Khandwa has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Khandwa is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3568 and has total administration over 675 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 494 (13.85%) males constitute 268 (7.51%) of the population and females 226 (6.33%).

The workforce is 774 male, 594 female with 858 (62.72%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 657 males and 201 females. 496 males and 164 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 50 male and 22 female agricultural labor. 510 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SURAJGARH and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
