Khangri is a small village of 789 hectares in Nadbai Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khangri depends on Nadbai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khangri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khangri's pin code is 321642[4], and village code is 01016700. The area of Khangri is segregated as 706 hectares irrigated area, 34 hectares unirrigated, remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khangri has One post office (Khangri B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Khangri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Khangri is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3640 and has total administration over 635 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Khangri has 555 children, 299 boys and 256 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 691 (18.98%) males constitute 374 (10.27%) of the population and females 317 (8.71%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 61 (1.68%) males constitute 32 (0.88%) of the population and females 29 (0.80%).

The workforce is 911 male, 502 female with 1083 (76.65%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 846 males and 237 females. 446 males and 186 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 143 male and 31 female agricultural labor. 330 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nadbai and Bharatpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
