Khariya is a small village of 565 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khariya depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Khariya's pin code is 331303[4], and village code is 00594900. The area of Khariya is segregated as 483.54 hectares unirrigated, the 22.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 58.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khariya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Khariya is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 611 and has total administration over 116 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Khariya has 76 children, 38 boys and 38 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 248 (40.59%) males constitute 125 (20.46%) of the population and females 123 (20.13%).

The workforce is 171 male, 160 female with 300 (90.63%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 159 males and 141 females. 117 males and 124 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 35 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 31 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
