Kheri is a small village of 200 hectares in Baswa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kheri depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 63.90% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kheri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kheri's pin code is 303313[4], and village code is 01356200. The area of Kheri is segregated as 163.99 hectares irrigated area, 21.92 hectares unirrigated, the 1.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kheri has Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kheri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kheri is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1886 and has total administration over 356 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kheri has 254 children, 137 boys and 117 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 280 (14.85%) males constitute 147 (7.79%) of the population and females 133 (7.05%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1169 (61.98%) males constitute 634 (33.62%) of the population and females 535 (28.37%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1145 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 600 male, 545 female with 609 (53.19%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 421 males and 188 females. 294 males and 178 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 female agricultural labor. 536 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bandikui and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
