Khohar is a small village of 733 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khohar depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 376.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khohar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khohar's pin code is 301709[4], and village code is 00760300. The area of Khohar is segregated as 376 hectares irrigated area, 156 hectares unirrigated, the 32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 169.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khohar has One post office (Khohar B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Khohar has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Khohar is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3187 and has total administration over 579 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Khohar has 507 children, 279 boys and 228 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 822 (25.79%) males constitute 448 (14.06%) of the population and females 374 (11.74%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 204 (6.40%) males constitute 103 (3.23%) of the population and females 101 (3.17%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
