Khoriya is a small village of 1309 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khoriya depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Khoriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khoriya's pin code is 306114[4], and village code is 02422000. The area of Khoriya is segregated as 176 hectares irrigated area, 188 hectares unirrigated, the 581 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 364 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khoriya has One post office (Gajnai B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Khoriya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Khoriya is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2563 and has total administration over 516 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Khoriya has 446 children, 254 boys and 192 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 103 (4.02%) males constitute 44 (1.72%) of the population and females 59 (2.30%).

The workforce is 633 male, 489 female with 867 (77.27%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 491 males and 376 females. 358 males and 218 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 73 male and 151 female agricultural labor. 255 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
