Kiwara is a small village of 977 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kiwara depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kiwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kiwara's pin code is 304025[4], and village code is 02631900. The area of Kiwara is segregated as 214.05 hectares irrigated area, 584.15 hectares unirrigated, the 70.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 77.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kiwara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kiwara is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1438 and has total administration over 241 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kiwara has 180 children, 103 boys and 77 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 436 (30.32%) males constitute 229 (15.92%) of the population and females 207 (14.39%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 63 (4.38%) males constitute 37 (2.57%) of the population and females 26 (1.81%).

The workforce is 372 male, 388 female with 678 (89.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 354 males and 324 females. 239 males and 280 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 82 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
