Kochwa is a small village of 675 hectares in Nimbahera Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kochwa depends on Jawad (M.P.), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kochwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kochwa's pin code is 312606[4], and village code is 03678400. The area of Kochwa is segregated as 45.39 hectares irrigated area, 266.61 hectares unirrigated, the 333.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29.27 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Kochwa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kochwa is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1048 and has total administration over 218 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kochwa has 132 children, 69 boys and 63 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 134 (12.79%) males constitute 72 (6.87%) of the population and females 62 (5.92%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 207 (19.75%) males constitute 103 (9.83%) of the population and females 104 (9.92%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jawad (M.P.) and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
